We were able to use someone’s tickets to the Mariners vs Braves game tonight. Good seats, but the M’s lost. Here is Finn enjoying his first pickle.

Well, we didn’t live up to one part of the Lenten discipline (posting more often) but we did take a lot more pictures of Finn during Lent. His personality is starting to show more as he gets on in months…

This is our confession post. We’ve been terrible about updating this site. We’re going to try again. It will be our Lenten discipline for 2011. We’re giving up slackishness.

Finn is a happy, healthy baby. He’s past 6 months now and weighs in at 17 lbs on the button. He’s 26.5 inches long. We’re starting to hear some pretty funny sounds come out of his mouth. No bad words yet…he’s just a pretty funny guy. Since our last post, we’ve all been to MN for Christmas where we got to meet Great Grandma Steen, Great Grandma & Grandpa Salvog, Great Uncle Bruce, Great Uncle Thord, 2nd Cousins Randy and Denise, lots of cousins, 2nd cousins and many friends. Finn also got to experience his first airplane ride, his first Blizzards (yes there were more than one), his first bath in Grandma & Grandpa’s sink and lots of other fun and interesting things.

Since Christmas we’ve been pretty busy with work and just trying to keep up with Finn. He started to roll around in January and has been getting stronger and quicker since then. He’s just on the verge of crawling now. Finn loves bath time, he loves being at church hanging out with all the kids and seeing all the people. He currently holds the title of “Official Church Baby.” There are several new babies on the way, so he probably won’t hold the title much longer. It is true that he is very loved and cared for by lots of people at church.

We’ve added a whole bunch of pictures. We hope they give you a glimpse of what we’ve been up to. We’re working on getting some videos posted, but they take a bit of time to produce. So in the mean time, we hope you are well and we hope to give you another update sooner than later.
